⛅️ I am a writer, filmmaker, and university writing instructor who has dedicated 16+ years to the careful study of astrology. Though, it was in 1999 I discovered the zodiac and have contemplated its symbols and messages since.
💌 In 2022, I began offering birth chart consultations and continue to do so with devotion.
🎭 Much of my professional practice is informed by my years as a creative broadcast and film producer, certification in hypnotherapy and subconscious healing modalities, and composition and rhetoric scholarship. Meaning: I approach my astrological practice creatively, methodically, with long-term vision, and with the ultimate goal of integrating all parts of myself into the whole.

My current project is connecting the idea of aversion and attraction as it relates to certain archetypal energies and our collective (think: “Geminis are two-faced” and how this repetition of aversion to this quality speaks volumes for how our culture fears mental change).
I look forward to sharing my contemplations soon — contemplations that could be called parts work or shadow work with the astrological archetypes and concepts.
I approach astrology with two distinct lenses that I believe work well together: ancient (Hellenistic) tradition and archetypal interpretations.
After adopting the Hellenistic (or ancient) astrology tradition in 2023, I see the value in the techniques developed and checked over hundreds of years. Because of this, I use the Whole Sign House System and the traditional planets and rulerships. To ensure my studies are thorough in this tradition, I am currently learning from Adam Elenbaas in the Nightlight Astrology Year One (”Ancient Astrology for the Modern Mystic”) course, and have begun close rhetorical and methodical analysis of ancient texts as guided by Demetra George’s and Chris Brennan’s writings.
As for the more modern, psychologically-based (emphasis on psyche) archetypal astrology: I am interested in identifying all parts of ourselves and seeking integration of the energies at play in our charts and in the sky. I study the archetypes of the planets, the houses, and the zodiac signs with curiosity and intuitively connect archetypal energies in my astrological consultations.
Though ancient astrology and archetypal astrology may seem at odds, I find them to be supportive of one another — one grounds where the other flies.
